Hi Heirem

Thanks for a great plugin, I look forward to the next update.

I just have a few questions with regards to modifying the plugin.

1. In the admin when an event is added, using the js datepicker, it formats YYYY-MM-DD - where can I change the date format so it reads Day XX Month YYYY.

2. Using the large event list, is it possible to add the excerpt tag after each Title?

3. Is there a tag that could be placed in a template where it could bring in say the latest 3 events?

Any help would be appreciated, Many Thanks Matt

Hello Leslie Bigos,
Indeed, I saw a problem on your site, and for me the thickbox does not even open. I then consulted the XHTML sources of the page and I did not find anything significant. To determine whether this is a problem inherent to Events Calendar I build this link. As you can see it provided out the content of the thickbox. So this is a javascript problem. The thickbox is executed by the function
tb_show
and you can find in the sources of your XHTML page. His statement is quite normal. I only can explain your issue as a javascript conflict between plugins. To go further I should need administrative rights on your FTP space.
Best Regards

I added the Events calendar widget and when I hover over a date on the side bar events calendar, it works fine and gives the details of the event. However, if I click the date for more details, the little box that opens up is to the far left and off the screen. I have version 6.5.2.1 installed. Can you advise me?

Thank you so much the nice plugin. The color scheme works so well with my new site.

Thank you!

Hello Simon,
I agree with the remark of Stewart. However, for the next version, I discovered expert's article in PHP (whose trace I do not find) which gave me a better method term performances, of load of libraries. It is necessary to know that '
include_once
' and '
require_once
' are very "heavy" for the webdserver memory.
Here is an example:

class_exists('EC_LCalendar') || require(EVENTSCALENDARCLASSPATH.'/ec_large-calendar.class.php');

If it can serve you in your development...

Hello Bryan, would you send me your nl_NL.po and mo files ? My email adress is in the footer of this page. I'm gonna take a look at them ;) Anyway something doesn't go well because a bad translation configuration do not drive to an empty events list ...

Hi,

I was looking for the dutch (nl_NL) localization files in the lang directory. I could not find them, so I started up poedit and created the nl_NL.po and mo files. Uploaded them to the lang directory and the event list/calendar stopped being displayed.

I deleted those new files and the event list showed up again.

I then copied one of the other language files and changed the names to events-calendar-nl_NL.po and mo. And presto the event list disappeared again.

Am I going about this in a too simplistic way?

Simon - I think you may have your plugins mixed up. The Events Calendar plugin does not include a wp-events.php file. The main file is events-calendar.php. In my experience it is already compatible with the configuration described in the codex article.
